About

Hi,

I’m Mike, a computer scientist who specializes in the domain of forensic computing (a.k.a. digital forensics).  I write Forensic Computing, a blog to share my thoughts, ideas, research, and other interesting findings.  I’ve spent years working in the field, conducting computer forensic exams, consulting on cases, actively developing digital forensic tools, and teaching for the SANS Technology Institute.

To contact me, click on “Contact” under the About link at the top of the page.  Alternatively, you can take a SANS forensics class from me.  To see my teaching schedule, click on”Teaching Schedule” under the About link at the top of the page.
